Interface and Data – NextFFE software is a Windows-based application built on top of the robust and proven technology of Microsoft Access™ and Microsoft SQL Server™. This allows NextFFE software to easily scale from one user to hundreds of users. Data entry is fast and intuitive, and reports print quickly with minimal time waiting for data to collate.
Projects – NextFFE saves all of your project-related information, such as your company’s information and letterhead, project location, client address and billing information, payments made by client, tax rate, default item markup, tax markup, contingency percent or amount, default shipping percent or amount, default item code prefixes, areas, room types and room type quantities.
Budgeting and Estimating – Easily create budgets and estimates. Print both internal budget and client budget reports so that you can quickly estimate projects and receive client approval. Produce budgets for an entire project, by area, by item, by model room, or any combination that you designate. Create master items, parent items, per-item markup percentages, and track quantities per room. Add your item specifications at any point during or after the budgeting process.
Specifications – NextFFE software comes with a comprehensive set of specification templates for FF&E, hardware, finishes, that you can use to quickly create your specification documentation. You can generate item specifications by using these two methods:
Copy the specifications using NextFFE’s Specification Library by choosing from dozens of templates.
Copy specifications from any item from any project by using NextFFE’s search tool. With the search tool, you can search for items and specs across both budget items and purchase order items. Search by project, area, vendor, manufacturer, keyword, or any combination of search criteria. When you find matching items and/or specifications, you can copy single items and specifications, or you can bulk-copy multiple items, even entire areas or projects of items. You can also batch print specification documents to save time.
Images – Attach as many images as you need onto your specification documents for both estimate items and PO items. Each project has its own image folder so that you can easily manage all of your images. When placing images on documents, select an image from anywhere on your network, and a copy of that image is automatically placed in that project’s image folder.
Submittal Tracking – Use NextFFE software to easily and intuitively manage submittals and related documentation. Track action dates such as “No Exceptions Taken,” “Make Corrections as Noted,” “Revise and Resubmit,” and “Resubmit with Additional Data.” Print submittal transmittals and logs.
Purchasing – Easily create purchase orders with all item specifications and images at the click of a button directly from your estimate item. Consolidate items and create split shipments on a single purchase order. Print your office, client, designer and vendor POs simultaneously. Expedite your items directly from your purchase order screen.
Change Order Management – Easily flag key purchase order information as revised and print change orders that clearly show all revisions to avoid costly mistakes.
Project Accounting – Print client estimates and approval documentation, track client funds and deposits received, track estimated vs. actual costs and prices, and create invoices and check requests. NextFFE software includes over a dozen accounting reports that allow you to instantly see the budget status of your projects.
Project Reporting – NextFFE software comes with over 70 reports covering budgeting and estimating, item code schedules, finishes, materials, master items, hardware schedules, submittals, expediting, room matrix, punch lists, and much more. If you need all of your reports to adhere to your specific criteria, NextFFE can create custom reports, as well as modify existing reports to your exact requirements.
